Guides

If you build a platform or app that allows users to trade manually or via automation using Deriv APIs, you can earn up to 3% markup commission on every contract your users execute.

Example:

Let’s say a user places a $10 stake, and the potential payout without any markup is $17.20 if the trade wins.

If you set a 2% markup, your commission will be calculated on the potential payout: 2% of $17.20 = $0.34

With this adjusted stake, the user’s new potential payout becomes: $16.63

🚧

⚠️ Markup impacts the user’s profit. The higher the markup, the lower their payout.

Another Example:

Stake: USD 25.50

Payout: USD 50

Markup: 2% of USD 50 = USD 1

Client Balance Debited: USD 26.50
